Meet Popsicle Photography!

1. My favourite part of a wedding- I don’t have a particular favourite part but what I really love is coming from the bridal prep so I get to experience the whole day with you! I feel like I’ve played a big part of the day and not just from taking photos but from being able to capture all the emotion. The getting ready excitement and sometimes nerves to the walk down the aisle- right up to the part just after the first kiss when all the nerves settle and it’s all just happiness! 

Also I do really love the portrait session (the ones you’ll put up on the wall at home) I love being able to be creative and create art with your portraits. Absolutely no need to worry about it being awkward either as I keep these as natural as possible and fun! 

2. Top Tip to make the day run smoothly

Not everyone’s day is the same- some aren’t as smooth as others and that’s ok!! I just think going with the flow and not putting too much pressure on yourself to make sure everything runs perfectly always helps! 

Giving yourself time once ready to just settle and take it all in before walking down the aisle is a big help too! 

3. What do I love about Springbank Manor? 

It’s such a gorgeous intimate venue, I’ve grown up close by to the hotel as a child. I remember my friend’s Grandparents had it when I was a child and I have fond memories of running around the grounds and the hotel! 

I find it easy to photograph as I know the venue inside out and all the surroundings! I also love the new renovation it looks super cool! 

4. One wedding trend here to stay? 

I think the reveals in the morning! These are emotional and so nice to photograph. I love a crying Dad! One of my favourite things to photograph so I hope it stays!

5. What makes me stand out from other suppliers? 

Does my hair count? Only joking. 

I want to say- I’m not just a photographer. I’m like your bestie for the day! I help with all aspects, not just the photos. I carry your things, fix your dress, and make you feel like I’ve got your back all day no matter what you need! 

6. If I wasn’t doing this job what would I be doing? 

I mean I’d love to go and live at Disney and just be happy all day every day! 

But I do have a background of working in schools- so maybe that because I did love it. I’ve got bookings for the next 3 years though so I won’t be moving to Disney anytime soon!
