What is your favourite part about a wedding? 

Everything! The atmosphere on a wedding day is unlike anything else.

From the excitement of bridal prep right through to the first dance and beyond, every moment is filled with emotion, energy and genuine joy. As photographers and videographers, it's our job to keep that energy high, help the couple and their guests feel relaxed, and capture every moment as naturally as possible.

I also love the creativity that comes with every wedding. No two celebrations are ever the same, which means there's always a new story to tell, a different challenge to embrace, and an opportunity to create something unique. That's what makes every wedding so special.

What is your top tip for making a wedding run smoothly? Go with the flow.

The biggest source of stress I see for couples is trying to control every little detail right up until the big day. My advice is always the same: no matter how much planning and preparation you put in, there will always be things beyond your control. Every wedding throws in a curveball somewhere!

At the end of the day, the celebration is all about the two of you. Your guests are there to celebrate your love, and they're far less likely to notice the little details than you think. It will be an incredible day regardless, and part of our job is to make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible behind the scenes.

I see it all the time on planning calls—couples worry about the smallest details, but when the wedding day arrives, they almost always let go and allow themselves to enjoy it. My advice is to embrace that mindset a little earlier in the process. Trust your suppliers, enjoy the journey, and remember: what will be, will be.

What do you love about Springbank Manor? 

There’s so much to love about Springbank Manor. It strikes the perfect balance between modern luxury and historic charm, creating a stunning backdrop for any wedding.

The beautifully renovated ceremony room is bright, airy and filled with natural light—something photographers and videographers always appreciate and that many venues are missing. The newly refurbished guest rooms are equally impressive, offering a luxurious space for getting ready and relaxing.

The grounds are incredible too, with plenty of beautiful locations for couple portraits throughout the day. There's even a bathtub that's perfect for creating some unique and creative evening shots! I love a bathtub shot! 

And then there's the food—it's absolutely incredible. Add in the fact that Springbank Manor has its own gin distillery, and it's hard to think of a better place to celebrate your wedding day.

What is one wedding trend you think is here to stay? 

There are lots here to stay but one trend I want to see be on the rise is a mobile tattoo van at more weddings. I captured wedding which had one recently and I think majority of guests had something and I was able to fit one in as well - would be great to have a collection of tattoos from various weddings we shoot.

What makes you different from other suppliers? 

We're incredibly easy-going, bring great energy to every wedding, and genuinely care about making your day as stress-free as possible. Of course, we create beautiful photos and films—but our role goes far beyond that.

We’re the people fixing buttonholes, fluffing dresses, calming nerves, keeping the timeline on track, and making sure you can simply enjoy your day. We love bringing creativity to every wedding, but we're just as happy getting stuck into the less glamorous jobs if it helps everything run smoothly.

Over the years we've cleaned bird poo off wedding dresses, rushed torn dresses to a seamstress during room turnarounds, untangled impossibly fine necklaces, found replacement entertainment suppliers for ones that haven't turned up, provided AUX cables for ones that have and solved countless little emergencies before anyone else even notices.

By the end of the day, we're not just your photographers and videographers—we're your biggest supporters, your problem-solvers, and your wedding best mates for one day only!

If you weren't doing this, what else do you think you would be doing? 

I have always been a creative and my background is within brand strategy, logo design and marketing commercially and I still do all that - I love creating, it’s not a job it’s a hobby and I am very passionate about that.
